winner of Guru wins the right to have people nominate anyone they want.
Don't like possibly nominating someone you think will be useless? Don't
enter Guru. I totally understand whining about Toadette (ugh) being the choice, but I don't get those who actually refused to nominate her 'out of principle' or some nonsense despite agreeing to the rules. Actually, in 2006, it was one of 14, I believe. 7 males and 7 females, if I'm not mistaken. But you had to nominate 7 females, and who in the world could think of 7 worthwhile female characters worth nominating? Nominate Toadette. --- "I can set you free, mate." "My freedom was forfeit long ago!" |

Welching on Toadette was fine because I think it set a certain example: pick someone worthwhile for the Guru or people won't bother. This is probably unfair, but I can support it if it results in never having a Toadette again. --- KrahenProphet lived up to his name. |

What
I love is that MC has everything in his corner for the match, too. He's
the bigger Xbox character. It's a day match. Ryu looked vulnerable
enough against Crash that Chief could bomb as much as theoretically
possible and still look the favorite (and, whaddya know...). He's got
every conceivable advantage here, and if he loses people won't even bat

If
Crono had a 1 or 2 seed this year, he wouldn't have lost in round 1. He

main problem with Toadette is that she was picked after nominations
were opened where several people picked their own and back then we

Hayabusa
had incredibly advantageous situations against both Riku and Zero and
then dropped the ball next round. Yeah, Snake was part of it, but not that much. He isn't going to be as strong as those matches say. Which could still be enough to beat Chief! --- KrahenProphet lived up to his name. |

Also,
I see no reason to expect Sub-Zero/MC to shift towards Subby in any way
since 2006. If anything, MC should be stronger due to more Xbox
