Man,
the only elite Hayabusa has ever faced is Snake and we can't trust
that. Chief has faced one elite in a fair match by in 2k5, which

Mega Man is not, will not, and should not be the favorite against Mario, no matter what he does. I'm
really interested in seeing Samus/Cloud now. It will really give us an
indicator of how strong the likes of Mario and Mega Man likely are and
how much, if any, FF7 may have deteriorated. Eh. Samus could probably pull a Seph/Samus in that match and be perfectly illegitimate to be honest. Link suffered from anti-votes past the First Round, so I see no reason why Cloud and Sephiroth shouldn't either. --- "..."--Ridley Yesmar |

Asia results are pretty surprising so far. Zack killed it in Asia last

the discussion of this match has degraded from fun to idiotic. I see
way too many people trying to predict other results like Aeris or
Charizard or whatever based off of this without realizing how
incredibly easy it is to go in the exact opposite direction, and how

if you ask me, I think it's more likely than not that Zack still breaks
40%. Cid had a lot of trouble rising for an FFVII character, while Zack

How
many of you guys were here in 2002 (playing the bitter old elitist
card, sorry!). IIRC, Seph was supposed to win that match more easily

Seph/Samus
2k7 only happened because the focus was on Link/Cloud - as opposed to,
say, Snake/Seph 2k6. Seph put up a measly 35.6% on Cloud when his votes
were needed (to say nothing of the 2k8 debacle), but he was able to
push that to 41.5% in the Royale. Samus did well for herself there
primarily because she avoided so much Link SFF - but she still has to
prove she can punch Clouderoth in the face and wound more than just

Also,
assuming Zack ends with 39.19%, Yuna gets 32.44% on Mega Man and 43.89%
on Cid (Cid = Aerith = Zelda > Aerith = Yuna?). Cid gets 47.15% on

sucks in polls and always has, and Cid was horribly overrated. Yuna is
horrible as well. What good match has she ever had outside the
illegitimate female stats? This is all easily explained, and anyone
looking at this and starting up Mega Man > Mario hype needs an IQ

No, Cid can rot. Red XIII is the best bet imo. Very well known and liked design. Plus the majority seem to actually like him. --- Nominate Red XIII for the Character Battle VII! He's the Lion with a fire tail from Final Fantasy VII. |
