Now here is a match with some big shifts. The difference between Mario's best hour and his worst hour was 8.1%. Big Boss goes from getting 41.50% in one hour to nearly getting doubled in the last two hours. Mario erased most of the damage Big Boss did overnight with that crazy morning vote.

Only the charts from the 2008 contest are up on the Wiki. The charts for the 2007 and the 2009 contests should be put up there as well. And I guess if Leon wants to, doing trend charts for the 2006 contests and putting those up too.

So is this Zidane getting stronger, Ike being weaker than we thought, or a bit of both?

I'll take both. Shadow's gonna end up not looking so bad and we've seen some other characters presumably boost thanks to Dissidia, so Zidane's got room to look better this year. We've only seen Ike in four-ways either pre-SSBB or with Pikachu in the poll, so it's not like we ever had a clear read on him -- his strength was largely just assumed. Combine the two, and voila.

Don't put things that can be misinterpreted as a ToU violation in the first post of a stats topic. It'll be a pain if someone marks it and I can't get it overturned.

Let's see...Based on Zidane's current percentage of 48.05% (and it'll probably get quite a bit lower than that), you end up with this:

Luigi – 50.00%
Ike - 42.75%
Zidane Tribal - 41.08%
Amaterasu – 40.41%
Shadow the Hedgehog – 38.32%

Hmmm...Seems too high.

Ike also got 44.65% against Pikachu. I don't think Luigi is that much higher than Pikachu, so it doesn't look so bad to me.

Well, Ike got 44.65% on Pikachu, so maybe it's not TOO far off.

Makes Prinny and Claptrap seem way too high though. Prinny gets 32.07% on Weegi and Claptrap gets 29.28% on him.

Maybe he didn't, but doing an adjustment based on Shadow implies that the statement I made is true, regardless if both things are zero.

I don't really know what else to make an adjustment on.

Not that we need an adjustment per se, but it's nice to have a general idea of ballpark strength. I doubt the difference is all that large anyway.

I agree it's probably too high when I'm looking at what they get on Luigi, but if Zidane/Ammy would have a good match (I bet they would, anyway), then the numbers don't look so bad.
