Somebody brought up Kuja/Master Hand earlier...hopefully that trend follows for Zidane/Ike, too! Since it's a weekend and a twelve-hour match though, probably not. Still, even if this stays close, I gotta favor Ike. It's SSBB against old-Square-wannabe -- ASV or no ASV, I would think that's gotta give Ike a taste of a trend-advantage on top of even competing with Zidane right now. It looks like Zidane would be tossing him if it was a night-match.

That cut by Zidane wasn't pretty though.

During the night in the US, more Europeans and Asians are awake. Europeans and Asians tend to heavily favor Final Fantasy characters.

I can't remember what the exact numbers are but in a day match, America has a much greater share of the vote.

Zidane's not terrible fodder. He beat Shadow last year and probably gained from Dissidia (though who knows how much). He's not the pinnacle of strength or anything, but he's not super-weak either.

We've already factually seen the vote intake % for America in night matches is about 10% lower than day matches. This is significant in close matches. Like this match, Zidane is dominating everywhere but America. He would likely win 52-48 if not more based on that if it was a night match.
