Liquid only had one weird match in his entire contest career, and that was against Luigi in round 1 in the fourways. I don't know why a few of you guys chose to believe that match over every other one of his matches, but so be it.

I must say though, Liquid is becoming a great contest character with all the great/weird matches he's putting on.

Looking back at this poll, I am SO GLAD Andrew Ryan was LFFing Big Daddy or he'd be in Frog or Rikku's position in the bracket and would've been out in R1 instead of R3.

If that vote-in poll is reliable, then going through Rikku and Liquid, if Vivi ends at 55% here he's projected to get 53.97% on Kirby. Which is almost identical to what you get if you go through the aforementioned route of giving Luigi 100% of Bowser's votes in round 2 last year, and extrapolating through Liquid and Luigi/Kirby.

And Liquid really should beat Frog nowadays. 2004 was MGS's worst year and CT's best, and it went down to the wire then- it really shouldn't be close now.

Kirby's first three matches last year didn't even look good. He can stumble along with average performances and swallow a bottle of pills right before the Sonic match... kinda like (actually, EXACTLY like) he did last year.

Excuses for him underperforming so far. I'm looking over last years and where are the average matches up to sonic you're talking about? On every one he performed as expected. In the Sonic poll he was the only nintendo character, same for the sephiroth one. That doesn't make him look good when Cloud is in the poll. I'm sure you thought it was though.

Kirby should probably get around 55%. Trying to extrapolate anything through Altair or Liquid will just result in headaches.

Zelda/Vivi happened a long time ago, this is a new vivi, he's been upgraded to version 2.0 and he's ready to unleash doomsday and flare, he's breaking 47% on Kirby.

Hah, I just saw this from earlier by yoblazer:
Guarantee: Liquid/Altair have some sort of rematch next year, and Liquid wins with 60%.

Book it.

I wouldn't even be too surprised if Altair freefalled, and Liquid boosted due to some random reason, and this was actually possible.

I'd buy it.

Liquid would break 45% on Mega Man just on hype!

Then the game comes out, gets slammed by reviewers, is hated, and Liquid loses to Tails R1 thanks to the backlash.
