Luigi's LM pic caused him to underperform (in my opinion, pretty big underperform) against Ammy. Ken is stronger than Ammy, or he should be anyway, and Ganondorf isn't all that much above Luigi. No way he takes his spread with that abomination.

Luigi's LM pic caused him to underperform (in my opinion, pretty big underperform) against Ammy.

Ammy avoided being doubled by Crono... I don't think breaking 40% on Luigi in a night match is an overperformance. I find it hard to trust Ken... he got 34% on Samus, but that's so long ago as to be irrelevant, and his narrow win over Wesker doesn't inspire any confidence, RE5 boost or otherwise.

Since when was Ken supposed to be strong in these things? I thought people were content in him being the low midcarder/high fodder that he is.

Anyway, Ammy is pretty strong (a lot stronger then Ken even on his best day). This contest pretty much cemented her spot as a solid midcarder.

Notice the "big" in front of the mistake? The 1 point matches aren't big.

The ones I've missed other than Crono were Kefka > Arthas, The Boss > Nathan Drake, Ammy > Shadow, Kratos Aurion > Sackboy, and Darth Revan > Terra.

Kirby/GlaDOS is nothing special. After seeing what the Cube is doing here, Kirby's gonna destroy her anyway.

I don't really think either character has an advantage in Vivi/Altair. I love that pic of Vivi, and the Altair one is good, too. I think he looks better when his face is hidden and/or there's some sort of blade showing.

Fact. Just going with instinct on this one, I guess - I have a feeling Sonic's performance against Lightning was better than most think.

A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice.

And now, for some serious thoughts:

Sonic/Knux: It's not what we wanted, but it's still good. Probably the fairest match pic of the bunch.

Ganon/Ken: Ken overperformance incoming. Too bad it's a day match, or else he would have looked even better. Ganon still has nothing to worry about.

Kirby/GlaDOS: This could be the blowout of Round 2. Meaningless pic advantage to Kirby.

Vivi/Altair: I think Altair might have a slight pic advantage. That Vivi pic is zoomed in really close; you can't even see his cool hat. Still, it's not nearly as much of an advantage as Altair is used to. Giving Vivi the match here.

Mario/Big Boss: I'm not as big on that BB pic as others, but it's still good and makes for a good bright/dark contrast with Mario. Boss will hopefully do well.

Zidane/Ike: Can someone let me know if "Bishie" comes into play here

MM/Zack: Zack is a handsome man. I wasn't sure if he could get the pic advantage without a brooding pose and the Buster Sword, but he pulled it off. Anyone who would ever vote for that goofy looking mega kid over MMX is a loser.

Hayabusa/Chief: Exactly the picture I was hoping Hayabusa would get. He's got the pic advantage and no excuses; time to make good on it.
