The mic is built right in to the laptop? That would probably work fine... we don't use any special software to do it, we just talk over Skype. If you want to install Skype and try out your mic, Ed could test it with your beforehand.

The Boss looks great and Ammy has one of the coolest picture-advantages I've seen in awhile. It's not one I expect to make much of a difference with voters, but then again, she admittedly looks much better than Luigi.

And Luigi's Mansion was a cool game, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as most Mario-platformers -- 2D or 3D.

It's hard to fit that into a portrait without stuff looking... off, though.

No, it was pretty much the standard console launch game. It's a fine game and shows off the new hardware, but completely forgettable once the good stuff everyone is waiting for starts coming out.

That's not the best Luigi picture, but honestly, I think Amaterasu's picture is remarkably bland. I don't think either character really has a picture advantage over the other.

Cube and The Boss, however, look great!

Part of me thinks the Cube is going to rock The Boss good, unfortunately. I shouldn't though, because L-Block only got 62-63% on HK-47. L should be stronger than WCC (or at the very least, WCC shouldn't be stronger than the Block), and The Boss is probably stronger than HK-47.

Last Round

Luigi – 65.70%
Meta Knight – 34.30%

Amaterasu – 52.59%
Shadow the Hedgehog – 47.41%

Analysis

As impressive as Amaterasu has been over the past few contests even she knows that she has limits. She has some wins and decent performances under her belt, but Luigi has been a lot more impressive over the past few years, heck if we go back to when he first appeared I wouldn’t be surprised if Luigi won that match as well.

Luigi’s win over Meta Knight was pretty impressive though I feel that was more because of SFF than any kind of boost in strength. Still Meta Knight was able to hold up rather well against him showing off the favouritism people have him over Luigi in Brawl. It is quite the shame that Luigi is stuck on a one-way ticket against Link. Well I guess the path is more important than the destination in this case.

While Amaterasu is not going to win she should still put up a decent performance. She was able to avoid getting doubled by Crono which is pretty good. Luigi is not far off from Crono, but for Amaterasu to have a good performance she needs to at least better her score in the second round against Crono which I think she will rather easily. Okami may not be world renown, but it is quite popular on GameFAQs which is quite the pleasant surprise.
