a bad performance for Tifa, especially if she goes up. Yuri's probably

Tifa should be getting around 80% here. She got 78% on Vyse once, and Vyse has to be stronger than Yuri. No she shouldn't. Back in 2005, Link, Cloud, Vincent etc would all have cleared 80+% on their respective performance. Now, nobody can achieve blowouts. Only Mario has broken 80% and that's with SFF. He should have gotten like 85% |

I dunno. People have mixed feelings about Lloyd, and being in an ensemble cast doesn't help his case. How does Tales of Symphonia have an ensemble cast? Sure each character gets their moment or two in the spotlight, but that's no different than FFVII, and it ToS is Lloyd and Collette's story in the same way FFX is Tidus and Yuna's. --- Wow, an intelligent criticism of Zeta. On
a side note, Skies of Arcadia was 34th on VGChartz' top 100 list from
last year (then again that list suggests Skies > CoD4 > Melee
> HL2), and was 27th on Destructoid's top 50 of the decade list.
Skies still has relevance! <_<_< Metal Knuckles FTW And wait, Tifa is underperforming because of the match pic??? Isn't this the same match pic she used to overperform on SAMUS??? |

Guybrush had his first new games in almost a decade while being
introduced to a whole new generation of gamers, as well as getting some
focus on consoles. All the other big hitters had tougher competition due to the vote-ins. That's why there hasn't been blowouts. Vincent should have hit 85% or so considering Bowser got 83% before and how in 2008 Altair tripled him. I'm convinced Guybrush had a Drake-level boost. He still sucks, but now he might actually be able to beat someone. --- Not Wylvane |

I said in my writeup, Yuri had a ton of disadvantages going into this.
Being the higher seed means he doesn't get the anti-vote factor, being

Yuri's biggest disadvantage is being Tales fodder going up against a Top 20 character. If he had someone on pre-RE5 Wesker's level like Lloyd did, he could've actually won a match. I'd probably pick Yuri over, say, U2-boosted Drake. --- Not Wylvane |
