Sephiroth is nowhere near Link's level, and that final match has so many points riding on it that a person can win with Missingno losing in the first round.

I think Missingno has a shot on Sephiroth though... I mean.. that board vote.. it's gonna be ****ing killer. Missingno will definitely have a lead in that match.

That'd be amazingly useful, yeah. I think Swarles_Barkley did it for Red/Ocelot? If someone could check how he did it and do the same here, that'd be great.

I think the lowest bracket percentage of all-time for a first round match was Sub-Zero's 20.27% against the Chief in 2006 (Yes, even lower than StarCraft's against Halo), but that's just for 1-on-1s. Haven't checked 4-ways, but that's a different beast altogether anyway. Does Missingno break that record?

holy crap, you used an apostrophe to make a word plural at least 3 times in that post. that's like cryptonite to me if I was batman - Bako Ikporamee

Since SB isn't online at this time, I wonder if he'd be willing to overturn the match well past after it ends even if cheating is found. Probably, but every time a match has been overturned, it's been pretty much right after it ended (or the votes would be removed mid-match). This match just had to be on a weekend, so there was never a fair chance to get SB to look into this match while the match is going on or immediately afterward.

Anyway, good show Missingno. I was rooting for Crono and do not like that a Noble Niner could lose in the first round -- especially with Sonic stinking up the joint on the other side of the bracket -- but this was a fun match and VERY impressive for a newcomer. It's a hell of an entrance. Does Pokemon have any more tricks up its sleeve?
