One thing to save Crono's pride:
If this was a night match, hell, a 24 hour match, Crono would win without a doubt.

Why don't we just let the characters play it out without anybody stuffing or rallying? What is the point of the contest if that's all we do? Neither of these characters have a chance of getting past Sephiroth anyway. Sephiroth would have beaten Crono by 10,000 votes.

The only match I can honestly say was ruined by rallying was Mario/Cloud in 2002. Also Missingno totally has this.

I just checked - seems Smogon has an anti-advertising rule, so no rallying can go there. Eh.

As for other places, I wouldn't make an account just to rally - that's just low-down dirty tricks. And nobody'd listen anyhoo.
