why are people even mentioning Yoshi?
is there some weird unknown factor that makes Yposhi SFF joke characters or something i'm unaware of?

Missingno is beating Crono right now, a much stronger character. he doesn't even need a bandwagon to easily cruise by Yoshi.

Missingno's barely beating Crono, a character who's bad during the day, in a day match. And I'd say that this match is more about how far Chrono Trigger's fallen than anything else, really. I'd expect Sephiroth to get at least 60% on Crono.

people don't seem to understand the point of a bandwagon. L Block went from losing to Kirby easily in round 1 to almost going even with Snake in round 3. If Missingno even gets close to that kinda boost from bangwagoning, then Seph is done.

Missingno's barely beating Crono, a character who's bad during the day, in a day match. And I'd say that this match is more about how far Chrono Trigger's fallen than anything else, really. I'd expect Sephiroth to get at least 60% on Crono.

Regardless of whether or not how much CT has fallen, the fact remains that he's breaking the Noble Nine chain.

A lot of that was Missingno falling off a cliff. Yes, Crono's votes went up, but Missingno's collapsed.
