Having
a different winner is one thing, but having it be another joke when
we've already saw a joke character win one a couple of contests back

We're
still early in. If it was fodder, the match would be over. This should
be good though. I expect Crono to get close, Missingno to stall, and
then the two to go back and forth with the lead |

So they'll just nominate a different, unused joke character and watch it all happen again. As far as more joke characters go, I guess Goomba and ? Block would be the best bets. ? Block especially, because it defeated L-Block easily in a bonus match. Hey,
I love Space Invaders and Paper Mario, and you don't see me leaving the
site when they got squashed horribly in the Games 2009 contest. Crono supporters could take a hint from Guybrush fans. Their character has never even won a match, EVER, unless you count his game advancing last year. And yet they don't let the man keep 'em down, and they keep nominating him every year, and they defended him yesterday when some people said he didn't deserve to return. And Crono actually has strength - he's won many matches. So just because he might lose round 1 this year doesn't mean he can't come back and go a few rounds next time. How do you think fans of Vyse and Laharl feel when their obscure RPG characters are kicked around like turds while yours has close matches against the likes of Mario? how do you figure they are going to run out of joke characters new games are being made all the time with new jokes unless this contest goes weekly they will never be exhausted --- 57% of American teenagers have abandoned Jesus and become Athiests. Like you really wanted to see a Link/Cloud final AGAIN I don't see why I wouldn't. It's always fun to watch Link beat on Cloud. You'd rather have the same winner every single year? Sure. I still have no idea how Goomba has never made a contest yet. He just seems like a perfect choice as far as joke characters go. (But I'm still rooting for The Blue Marble!) played through Pokemon Blue again a year or two ago for old time's sake
