For those that have played KOTOR - what are the chances that Revan could actually be weaker than HK-47? Personally I think that Revan will be considerably weaker than HK-47, but Shepard doing so well means that Bioware "blank slate" characters can actually do well. |

I never said Zero was going to beat Auron, but we've seen crazier
things. He should definitely fall in that 46-48% area though! |

From: creativename | #298 The chances for a Tidus/Auron relationship always exist, but they are rare, and Revan doesn't really have a reason to be that weak/disliked. He's a total badass in the game, gets hyped bigtime, THE SPOILER, etc etc. HK-47 is a huge fan favorite, but he's actually one of the least important characters in terms of the main story. He really is like Vincent in that you can go through the whole game without even having him in your party, although I'm guessing the overwhelming majority of KotOR players picked him up. While it's not inconceivable for HK to be stronger, it certainly seems unlikely, and it would probably be due to HK actually getting a few years of contest exposure; I'm sure that helps sometimes. Personally
I think that Revan will be considerably weaker than HK-47, but Shepard

do well. I just looked up the game - apparently Revan isn't the villain? I thought he was. How prominent is Revan in KOTOR? (no major spoilers please, I'd like to play the game someday) I don't see how Shepard would be a comparison though - Shepard's the main character. Hmm,
Auron got ~71% on Marcus last contest in the 1st round, so Zero should
look decent against Auron compared to what he's looked like the last
few contests. I think Fenix probably isn't as popular as he was last

contest, Marcus got 37% on Subby... and after ASV, he may get close to
34-35% here, and I'd take Zero to beat Subby comfortably. So I don't

And out of the numerous people that responded to me just now, no one else actually gave anything away. If you hadn't spoiled it it is very unlikely I ever would've been spoiled before playing the game. But, it's alright :) This in a nutshell is why I don't like the merging of gamers and the internet. It's impossible to fully enjoy a game anymore if you wait too long to play it. From my understanding the Heavy Rain "story" is extremely fluid in that it has a beginning, an end, a few events which MUST occur, but everything else is fluid. And even in the must occur events, they don't have to play out the same way. WHAT FOLLOWS IS A FICTIONAL EXAMPLE Say for instance there was an event where a policeman arrests someone in front of you. This will always happen. How you respond to it, whether you attack the policeman, complain loudly, back the policeman up or watch from a distance are all up to you. Regardless the criminal will still either spit some information at you from a distance, pass it to you as he runs off free, etc, etc, but the story is vastly changed. --- Think that's how it's going down. |
