I've been saying this for years. I mean, Sephiroth gets to beat two FFVII characters this year, and not one of them is Aerith?

I've been wanting to say, "Man, Sephiroth is really killing Aerith here" or "Man, Aerith really died on that update" for years!

You know, it just occurred to me that Aeris barely beat Cid in the vote-ins. Then MM crushed Cid. And Auron probably > Mega Man. And that's before possible SFF.

Mega Man is still a step above the rest of the field. If we removed the top 6 next contest, he'd be my favorite to win.

Speaking of which, who would win if we removed the Top 6? Mega Man, Crono, Vincent, and Squall would all be strong contenders, and we might see a few outside chances like Auron, Ganondorf, Sora, Luigi, or Kirby.

I'd love to see such a contest, even if it would be a dick move removing Snake despite him never winning a contest. I guess that means he'll have to win this one!
