Man I remember I just said this in my crew write-up. "Proto Man does well and people call for Snake's head" Sure enough. Proto Man has decent enough reason to be strong so for now I don't see the problem in assuming it could just be all him. Dude's gonna drop a bit when the early vote wears off anyway. --- No problem! Man had an exciting minute, but now Solid's gonna beat him down...most
likely worse than Cloud did Ridley since it took Cloud over thirty
minutes to finally start doubling him. Don't forget Ridley barely beat

Considering
Proto Man's basically an unknown, Snake's not doing too bad here. He
just had a hilariously bad board vote, which makes me doubt whether
GameFAQs will continue to see him as a lovable underdog who took out
Seph and Cloud and almost beat Link. I don't think he'll have much of a
chance with Sephiroth, even if Marth breaks 40% on him. --- Not Wylvane |

Man has a great board vote too, and I guess many Board 8ers couldn't
resist the urge to back Protoman in his first match in ages (and a
match where he is sadly doomed). Mega Man himself would have never done
