I have a feeling Cloud is going to disappoint. I'm not sure why, just my gut instinct.

My picks for the five worst performances of Round One thus far:

1) Arthas Menethil. What an absolutely sorry performance, especially after Thrall performed above expectations.

2) Liquid Snake. I can't believe I forgot to mention this schmuck in my previous post.

3) Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Judging from the pre-contest hype, he should have been huge. Definitely a let-down.

4) Professor Layton. Considering how much hype his games have received since the last contest - particularly in Europe - he should have done far better than 31% on Isaac.

5) Kratos. 60% on Tails isn't exactly a two-seed-worthy performance.


Now, for my top five favorite performances:

1) Charizard. He's never been in a contest before, but by dismantling Duke Nukem the way he did, he's already made a huge splash.

2) Mega Man. People talked extensively about a potentially strong performance by Cid, but then the Blue Bomber came and curb-stomped him. Good show!

3) Jill Valentine. A debated match turned into a doubling... that's always something.

4) GlaDOS. She deserves plenty of cake for that terrific performance on Fawful.

5) Mewtwo. 41% on Ganondorf? Blimey, that's a lot more than I was expecting!

Dunno why people are so down on Kratos. Sure, Sonic Team's been disappointing, but we have no idea how bad Tails is these days. 60% is a good bit better than Dante got on Tails back in the day.

This performance is pretty bad - the guy's basically Altair (based on design at least) and his game is one of the reasons Altair probably boosted, yet he's doing worse on Simon Belmont than Altair did on Liquid Snake

I wonder if the name has something to do with it. Altair is a much cooler name than that random long Italian one.

Well that was a weaker Dante plus Tidus was able to double Tails last year. Heck unless you think Tails is stronger than Shadow Kratos looks terrible.
