That's the second level which is eh, the first one is great though. They reference that all over the place in Modern Warfare 2. I can't believe they didn't bring him back, but it's just testimony to MacMillan's enduring popularity that he got a #9 seed three years on.

yeah, the first level isn't bad (though I still prefer the tv station level), but the 2nd part of it is probably my most hated mission from MW1.

Ezio is not anywhere near Altair. It was extremely foolish to think that, and it was even more foolish to think he had a shot against Zelda (who would beat Altair easily as well). In fact, Ezio is only this strong because he looks so similar to Altair. Give him the exact same game but a different design, and he'd probably only get like 54%.

His game is far too new. He doesn't have the fanbase that Altair has. He is weaker then Altair, and will be for a long time.

Analysis

This match has a chance of being the largest blowout of the contest. So far that award belongs to Mario/Falco, but Cloud is the second strongest character in the bracket while Ridley is around decent fodder. However the vote-in characters seem to hold their own against strong characters, just take a look at Link/Thrall, which many thought would be an easy quadrupling.

Last time we saw Ridley was back in 2007 where he was doubled by Leon. While Leon isn’t a weak character when comparing to Cloud he would probably fail to avoid getting doubled. Since then nothing much has happen in the world of Metroid other than hype for a new game, but considering Ridley hasn’t been shown he probably won’t benefit and really only has Metroid Prime Trilogy to work with.

While Cloud failed at taking his usual second two contests in a row that is more because of bandwagons than him getting weaker. While he isn’t going to defeat Link any time soon Cloud is still one of the most feared characters in the bracket. As long as Cloud doesn’t fall flat on his face he should be considered the heavy favourite at reaching the finals.

I believe that this match will have the biggest blowout of the contest. After this match the only other competitors the board gave thought to that can get the largest blowout are Vincent, Tifa and Captain Falcon, mostly because their opponents were able to avoid the vote-in and that they are weak.

For the record, though, I don't think Ezio is the turd of the round - the turd of his division, maybe, but probably not worse than Arthas, Layton or Kratos (the last one being more debatable than the others).
