I don't think Geolocation is updating.

There appears to be a slight delay after the match results update before the Geolocation results update again. The match results and Geolocation results don't update at the same time.

The stuffers have moved on to Arkansas! This was like 53/47 for Simon before, IIRC.

It's really weird what a huge regional difference there is in this match though. One of the biggest we've seen for the U.S.

Probably a bit of each. Simon got underestimated; Ezio got overestimated. I think Ezio will be stronger in the future, but he's too new; his fanbase hasn't reached its full potential yet.

Ezio's under 56% now.

So, either Altair >> Ezio, or Simon Belmont > Liquid Snake.

I call CT/Castlevania SFF! This explains everything- why CT did better on SM64 with FFVII in the poll, why SOTN got completely destroyed against in round 2 last year, why Magus lost so badly to Alucard, and why Simon got destroyed so badly by Crono.

Really, this says it all. Either Altair is completely divorced from Ezio's strength and we're seeing something akin to 2k3's KHF where Sora got thrashed by Aeris yet the other Square guys still ripped it up, or they both suck and Liquid's just abominably bad.

Ezio/Simon = Kratos/Tails Part 2?

Judging by his past contest performances, I'm having a difficult time buying into the theory that Simon has strength. So, I think this is just an epic choke from Ezio more than anything else - I'm in full agreement with Ulti, this is definitely the worst performance of the division. I know Eddie Riggs did terrible, but Ezio is doing downright bad as well, and he actually had prospects!

This performance is even more embarrassing for Ezio when you consider that Simon's match picture is possibly the worst of the contest so far. It makes Sandal's look like Duke Nukem's.

Quoting my own post from the Crew Analysis topic:

I've always been in the Altair > Ezio boat.. this confirms it. And Liquid isn't crap, he just had a godawful pic vs one of the most badass pics ever. I think Altair and Liquid are still almost equal, Altair probably a bit stronger. I believe he's very pic sensitive so who knows where his real strength lies.
