It's not going to be Edgeworth, I'll say that much. Given an extremely pessimistic value for Big Boss against Mario - 23.87%, which he got with a horrible sprite pic - and an extremely pessimistic value for Mario against Link - 33.72%, which he got in triple LFF last year - Edgeworth still works out to 15.31% on Link. That's probably stronger than Ratchet, so the moral of the story here is lol Eddie Riggs.

What are we even going to adjust on? The last 1v1 contest?

Some of these characters have nothing to adjust on. We can make decent guesses for some (like Vincent and Tifa around Squall/Auron level, for instance).

And there will probably be SFF-adjusted stats this year, I'd figure. Just like always, you just have to take them with a grain of salt because most adjustments are arbitrary. I didn't adjust a single thing that wasn't related to a match result in my stats last year.

Analysis

The vote-ins did a good job removing a lot of the fodder from this contest, but at the same time there are fodder that have small hardcore fanbase that will get the character into the contest with a decent seed, but when thousands of voters come it’s pretty obvious that they are going to get crushed. Zelda on the other hand pretty much has this bottom half division rapped up unless Ezio decides to be near elite after just one game.

The only contest Travis was in he was crushed by Nintendo characters. While the guy isn’t from Nintendo himself being a Wii exclusive does mean that the fanbases will probably overlap. Since Zelda is also Nintendo it is likely that he will be crushed in a similar manner. Travis does have a newly released sequel that came out about a week ago. This could boost his performance against Zelda, though he’ll still likely be crushed.

It’s a shame that Zelda was given an easy route before falling at the hands of Samus. I do find the call for an Ezio upset amusing and while some people are dismissing it completely personally I would like to wait for his premier match before laughing at the thought of an upset.

On the one hand, No More Heroes 2 just came out. On the other hand, Travis looked very weak last year. He had nice Stand Out Factor on his side, and Mewtwo (who was overlapping with Ness) still almost tripled him.

No More Heroes 2 might help TT not get blown out quite so badly, but in last year's stats, Zelda is undoubtedly underrated (being stuck with Mario for both of her matches), and there's a possibility Travis Touchdown is slightly overrated, and my stats still project Zelda with like 79% of the vote.

Plus, she's proven she's quite capable of blowing the crap out of fodder (Hey Carmen Sandiego).

Might be possible. I just remembered that Mewtwo scored 73.91% on Travis last year, though I wonder how much of that was due to SFF and/or LFF. I think Zelda will clear the tripling with no problem. Zelda should be slightly above Ganondorf and I wager Zelda could probably get around 60% on Mewtwo. So the quadrupling might happen.

Call me optimistic, but I think Travis will avoid getting tripled.

And I thought there already was a 493 out, at least for Diamond. Dunno if Platinum got such an update yet. Hell, I'm pretty sure I played a bit of Diamond 493, with the starters being something like Squirtle, Cyndaquil, and Treecko. Should be on LL. Also pretty sure a LLer make Emerald 385, aka Ukemerald after the guy who made it, Uke.

And Jecht's going to kick Ratchet's ass. You guys wouldn't take Laharl over Jecht, would you? These votals freaking stink and just show that Ratchet's high enough fodder that he can blow out uber-fodder.

If anything, this match is a testament to how nobody actually likes Jack Black but simply tolerates him in whatever movies or TV shows he's in.
