Nobody
ever should have expected people like Squall/Cloud/Tidus to get boosts
from Dissida. They're already well known on GameFAQS by everyone. It
definitely does help people like Jecht who barely appear in their game
and the older pre FF7 characters. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

Ah,
goes to show how little I know of FFX...! I knew he wasn't playable in
it, but I didn't realize he had minimal screen-time. Even still, I
remember seeing Jecht-rallies in the past. They clearly didn't work
until this year though, which could fit in with what you guys are

Yeah,
Dissidia was always going to help the old school and lesser known
characters, because they haven't had the same sort of exposure to the
mass audience. Jecht is just sort of irrelevant all around, so he
wasn't going to be hot stuff regardless. Characters like Cecil and
Kefka, though, get a more modern look and the most focus they've ever
gotten outside of their main games, so it's good news for them. Terra
should benefit from it, too. I would say Zidane as well, but who knows
where claptrap is at. Characters like Cloud or Tidus or Squall or
Sephiroth, though, aren't going to budge. Dissidia is just one more

didn't have much screentime, but he's talked about quite a bit and

accounting for that, Jecht really doesn't compare to Sephiroth either
way. There's not many FF characters who have the all encompassing

Whew, Jecht's doing well! That's a relief. I'm also quite glad to see Phoenix isn't laying an egg. I think my main problem with Sackboy is that no one cares about LBP anymore. That guy had a severe hype : disappointment ratio. Kratos isn't exactly relevant anymore though, is he? But I wouldn't be shocked if he won. Symphonia
doesn't seem to have dropped in popularity much, if at all. Was never

Kratos isn't exactly relevant anymore though, is he? Tales of Symphonia did well enough in the Games Contest to tell me he's relevant enough to beat Sackboy, who shouldn't even be popular in the first place. --- "But you have been given freedom. has reason to be popular, for sure, more than his game even. Not super
popular, but it doesn't take a ton of popularity to knock off Kratos

I think my main problem with Sackboy is that no one cares about LBP anymore. That guy had a severe hype : disappointment ratio. This. LBP was all Sony's hype machine and had no substance behind it. think Sackboy's (awesome) design should work in his favor, but I don't
know. My instinct tells me he has a good shot at winning, but at the

I just don't feel Phoenix's fans are going to let him die when the match is within reach without a ton of rallying behind the scenes. I mean, looking at the Bomberman match as well.. Bomberman makes a massive comeback and then just hits a wall where neither character goes anywhere.
