How often do you troll back on trolls for other things? ...is it ever productive?

Anyway, we gotta understand that -- while we don't want to see such a pick wasted -- we didn't win that contest-influence. If the winner picked Crono in hopes of reaching a higher seed, that's the contest-influence he won and it's on us to shell it out. It's still just one nomination regardless. If they want to waste their Guru-nom, they have that right. We, as the losers in this scenario, don't have that option if we want to be good honorable people.

Anyway, how many people with that kind of power are going to pick a contest-regular anyway? Wario's the closest we've come to it so far.

If we have to have fodder it should be the best fodder.

I've honestly thought about winning the Guru, picking Link, and then leaving the board forever. The idea makes me chuckle to myself, which is probably more pathetic than the idea itself.

Glad Heavy made it almost to 50%. I hope Team Fortress 2 continues to build up a small fanbase in contests and that one day, there's be a Round Two entrant.

This match is going as expected for me personally even from a statistically stand point. Sub gets 40% on Auron while Tidus gets 42% on Kirby, and if you think KH2 Auron is nowhere near Kirby, Sub would have really been the easy choice.

I didn't know people reneged on Toadette.

And the new character I want to see in the contest most at this point would be Sheik, then Epona. Also, I'd be completely fine with the Guru winner choosing Link. I would laugh and nominate him; I haven't nominated him in years at least, maybe not ever, and he really deserves it as my 3rd favorite character.

And I think Auron would probably almost beat Mega Man but that's just me.

I only really looked up old 1 vs 1 match-ups and assumed they had no reason to boost or drop (or at least very little when you consider Dissidia).

I'd still nominate him, though I wouldn't enjoy doing it. There's really much worse nominations though- like I would far rather nominate Sonic than someone like Toadette. If the Guru winner is a huge Sonic fan who wants to see him go an extra round further, fine. It beats horrible fodder that no one cares about being blown out in round 1.

The problem with Toadette is that nominations opened before the series contest ended which caused people to use up all of their nominations before realizing that they needed the guru. You also couldn't delete nominations back them.
