Tidus
is probably the best protagonist in FF history, but good GOD does he
suck ass in these contests. He went from going even with Ganon back in

couldn't you also make an argument that FFX itself did get it's fair share of backlash around 03? I mean every FF gets its backlash upon release and then people end up loving it like FFVIII. --- Shakes Fist! |

Yikes,
Jill is getting dismantled by this ASV, and Niko Bellic doesn't exactly
strike me as an ASV superstar. Looks like introducing her to the Xbox
crowd boosted her in general but didn't help her day vote. So lucky she

I have Tidus easily beating Sub -- especially with Dissidia boost. On top of that I don't know why people think Dante has a chance against Ryu? Dante is projected as being weaker than Ryu in the X-Stats to begin with (not to mention Ryu has gained major exposure since the last contest with SFIV, and it's likely that Dante has only dropped as it's been even longer since his last game.) X-stats has Charmander and Raw with Ryu > Dante. Sorry, just because
yours don't follow their trends doesn't make it fact. 2 vs 1 majority
rules. Also, ignoring X-Stats. Ryu and Dante met once (Ryu decimated Dante), then in the following year they both lost to Sonic (Ryu looked much, much better.) X-Stats are iffy at best, and they've never placed Dante very high above Ryu.
