You
know what game was under-rated? Star Fox Assault. Sure it's nowhere
near SF64, but the few flight missions it has are really good and the
tank missions are at least fun. It also has a fun multiplayer mode and

Nah, she was in Brawl, and anything Rare made they owned the rights to when Microsoft bought them. Nintendo has all the characters Rare designed for their series... I'm fairly confident Rare is responsible for any of the non-Donkey Kongs and K. Rool as well. RC, didn't Conker start out in a Donkey Kong racing game or something? Yeah, Conker and Banjo both started in Diddy Kong Racing... and Tiptup, a minor character from BK. I'm not sure how they worked those rights out exactly, since they ported the game to DS, but took out Banjo and Conker... but left in Tiptup. Has Rare made anything for Microsoft lately? Viva Pinata 2 and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts were both like... late 2008, I think... and both incredibly awesome. And they're going to release the remade Perfect Dark soon... but now they're all focused on shady Natal doings Oh! remember the Rare sale was such a big deal back in 2002. It was rumored
for months, and then the rumors came true. Good move on Nintendo's
part- they got $350 million or something like that for their shares in
a company that proceded to produce a dramatically lower output than it

They were one of the handful of companies(read: Rare and Nintendo) who did games for the N64(even if DK64 and Banjo games don't hold up that well). They got bought out by MS, and some Nintendo fans were like "Oh noes not Rare! Now we won't get Diddy Kong Racing 2 and Jet Force Gemini 2 ;_;". Then Rare proceeded to do jack all for an entire generation, did that crappy Perfect Dark Zero, did the awesome Viva Pinata games, and whatever the hell that Banjo game was. think if they stayed with Nintendo though they would have continued to
put out a number of good games. Weren't most of their games
collaborations with nintendo developers working together with rare

Ugh, they're like the worst kind of collectathons. They try to be like SM64, but fail utterly. For example, when you got to collect 100 coins in SM64. Yeah, thats not that fun in that game either, but at least theres plenty of coins everywhere so its not that hard. In Banjo Kazooie, you gotta get those 100 notes, and there is EXACTLY 100 notes. So you have to look through EVERY part of the fricken' map to find every single one of these things. Man, getting the 100 notes isn't even that hard... you can get them while just going around doing other things mostly... the 360 version does make it a little nicer in that you don't lose all the notes you collected when you died.
