It directly shows your character losing to the one you were calling a weakling. I know Altair is likely stronger now but still, it was pretty funny. Charizard would beat Altair and easily.

I love how people can get all hyped about Charizard winning over a fodder char, but Altair destroying a universally accepted midcarder-highmidcarder means that they other character dropped because there's no way Altair is that strong.

If you ask me, what you're doing is no different. Liquid was overrated in the stats in 2008. After all, this IS the same guy who allowed Lavos to break 45% on him.

Duke beat Altair in a 4 way, and Altair had to compete with two smash/pokemon characters, and then Link and Zack (who would have a large portion of Altair votes.) I say in a one on one Altair, even without WSF and AC2, would have beaten Duke. Let alone now. Altair is stronger than Charizard.

Again, Liquid has at least been ranked decently before the 4ways, and has a believable reason for boosting (MGS4). Meanwhile, you're comparing to the villain contest which was about as credible as the female bracket of 06.

60% On Jill is at least worth high-end mid-carder. If Tails is still as bad as he's been in the past this would imply that Kratos either dropped or moved nowhere since his loss to Ryu.

Kratos will probably still rise a few points from here. He's probably a few points below Kirby- better than he was in 2006, but not quite a near-elite. Ryu did manage to beat Auron with Cloud in the poll, while Kratos couldn't beat him with Sephiroth in the poll, after all.

Or Altair just boosted a lot more. Not inconceivable. Considering it was a 4 way format and not a good measure of Altair's strength to begin with -- we don't even know what his base value was. I doubt that he has a lot of hardcore fans as it is, so others might be more drawn to the other options in a 4 way. But at this point he's had enough time with his first game, and the success of the second game (and the impending 3rd game that everyone is waiting for.) It's definitely not inconceivable that Altair boosted a lot while we just underestimated his 1v1 strength to begin with, and Liquid dropped a bit.

The perfects, -1s and -2s knew this match's winner was fairly obvious. Those with lower scores probably disagree. There's a pretty significant drop off in prediction percentage at the -3s and -4s level. Based on the guru, we beat the casuals almost as much as they beat us on Kefka vs Arthas.

7 people fell off the Top 50 today. Mogthegnome, link0825, STEROLIZER, Sandyoso, DodgyTBone, RenoTurk11 and Owen2000_uk didn't think The Char could beat The Duke.

1 person got it wrong but survived. edgewalker16 also didn't have The Char winning.
