Last Place Factored. It doesn't change the fact that he beat Gordon the previous round, and Gordon was already no joke in 2006. So why Duke and not Gordon? But I'll easily take the character who had the more decisive victory, and that was Gordon. That's why I'll take Alucard > Liquid and Gordon > Scorpion, too. --- "So cold. I am always by your side." chickened out on Charizard>Sora at the last moment. I didn't realize

Gordon manhandled Duke in Round 2 because the Orange Box was released between rounds. Also, Sonic did so well that match because he had been announced for Brawl. --- KrahenProphet lived up to his name. |

Uhh...Sox, you ARE aware of how Pokémon is more frontloaded than Megaman, right? This means nothing. I was assuming Charizard ends up at 62-63%, like I've heard a few people estimating. For
what it's worth, I think Duke/Gordon affected each other to some degree
-- I don't think Ike without SSBB released (and his only hype was
Dojo-hype, no trailers) should have gotten that close to either of them
and we saw Duke affected when Gordon got the Orange Box released before
their next match. They're both classics to PC-fans in the FPS-genre

Duke
might have dropped this year, but he was definitely decent in 2008, and
if you think otherwise you have to assume that Altair either boosted a
ton this year, or Liquid dropped a lot in order to make him not look
good, since he did beat Altair twice. Never mind the fact that Division 1 was Link, Zack and a crapload of fodder. You know something's wrong when ZIDANE is third in the division X-stats. when that match happened, I was of the opinion that Duke won due to
being the only "mainstream" option (Gordon, Ike, and Guybrush aren't
really mainstream, at least not at the time for Gordon and Ike), and
that was subsequently why he got walloped in round 2 when you threw in

Well,
I did the same thing (had Marth and Kefka advancing out of a round 2
Marth/Lucario/Kefka/Altair match). I guess I was thinking Brawlfear +

Lucario was stuck in on an optional island somewhere, you needed to hatch an egg and then evolve it's prevfolution to get it. If I didn't need to find it to get the National Dex, I never would've found it. --- Lucario has no connection for me at all. |
