RBY
is the best generation by several miles, and I am vastly with the
majority opinion on this. People don't like the stuff past 151. In terms of the quality of the Pokemon, sure, but it's pretty hard to deny that the gameplay has improved significantly. Maybe because he's a big awesome dragon? I haven't played Pokemon in over 8 years, but I remember Charizard being the ****. So... he doesn't really do anything cool? He just looks like a dragon? If you haven't figured out that Pokemon doesn't really have a storyline worth mentioning yet, I'm really not sure what to say. That said, he also draws popularity from the anime, where he is a badass. --- From his looks Magus is Macho Man Randy Savage as an anime zombie. Pokemon fans, and Pokemon "fans". The Pokemon fans all prefer latter
generations. The "fans" (like me and many other people here) vastly

Charizard's
awesome in the anime, but only because he regularly abuses the
everliving **** out of Ash. One time Ash was in the Sweet 16 in the
Pokemon league, and he used Charizard against his friend's Pikachu.
Charizard decided to ignore Ash and take a nap, thus eliminating Ash
and humiliating him on national television. Of course, then Charizard had to start respecting Ash and then the show jumped whatever shark Pokemon I can't think of. --- Not Wylvane |

Never
playing Pokemon until just a couple months ago is likely why I don't
see the appeal... I mean Ridley was a badass looking dragon thing that
was fodder -shrug- I guess I just won't get the nostalgia thng since by
the time it became popular, I was already in high school and pokemon

played RBY when it was relatively new, and I still never saw the

games actually still sell a truckload of copies. I think Diamon/Pearl
beat out Gold/Silver. They just appeal to a new generation of kids, not
