Hm.. Frog vs Duke. I dunno. I'd take Frog but I don't know by how much. I'd be quite surprised if Duke was stronger. Possible, but it's not what I'd expect at all. Remember, while Duke 21.91% on Link last year, he got 23.05% on Sonic the year before. Duke is inconsistent and potententially weak - he may have had a good year last year for whatever random reason. Even in 2K7 he went from beating Gordon to get under 40% on him!! That's why before I saw this, I thought Kratos>Charizard was very much possible. Now I'm very skeptical mainly because while Tails is likely stronger than we expected, this does show we don't have have the "stronger" version of Kratos. all, and I CALLED Tails being the best Sonic Team performer when these
pics went up. The match picture just contrasts too sharply, and Kratos
is like Sony's Master Chief; he probably can't blow anything out, ever.
I was too damn spineless to keep my Oracle in the low 60s, but oh well,

If
vote in polls are accurate, Cid=Tails, so by the end match after he

I don't think anyone would argue that they're not a vaguely general indicator. Problem is, he was good in 2k6. There was no reason to believe in a flop, especially one this large. He lost 57-43 to Ryu in 2006. Wouldn't you take a midcarder to stomp Tails given his 2k8 showing? Not really. He got 41% on DK, who's on the high end of low midcarder. Tidus only got 68% on him, despite DK/Tails LFF, and Tidus is stronger than 43% on Ryu. I can't spin this as a Kratos win in any way. I can't see Tails being

1. I said general indicators for a reason. Yeah I was responding to another post. I'm typically a page or two behind in these topics, yet often forget to quote anyway. I would they that the 12-ways are probably "mostly transitive", but the linearity should be extremely unreliable. So they're of limited use - they don't really say all that much beyond what's typically fairly obvious. The one thing I think we can agree they reliably point to is strength for Missingno. Though I highly doubt Missingno is as strong as Charizard, which means he won't really challenge Crono. But given Crono's tragic history I suppose epic failure like losing to Missingno is always a small possibility. Kratos looks horrible. This result doesn't make much sense when WCC
doubled Tails last year, while WCC itself would have been defeated by
Kratos. The match picture just contrasts too sharply, and Kratos is like Sony's Master Chief; he probably can't blow anything out, ever. I was too damn spineless to keep my Oracle in the low 60s, but oh well, it'll still be better than most people's. I had mine in the low 70s. Because we thought that about Pokémon, Master Chief and Joke characters. It's been proven bull. Seriously? Just because he has a good hardcore fanbase against relatively new characters doesn't mean it'll hold up against someone like SONIC, Sub-Zero and Gordon Freeman (who would have a very similar fanbase to Duke, but better because his games are still going and are better.) True,
he hasn't been relevant in years, but neither has Pacman. I'm not
saying Duke is as well known as Pacman, but I still think that he is
famous enough that even the younger players at least know who he is.
Part of that fame is certainly due to the DNF joke rather than his

He's beloved by the fanbase (every TF2 character is), but he's not nearly as much of a fan favorite as Spy is.
