By the way, 15% seems like a good fodder line cutoff point.

Eh, too low, I think, even on our current Link. That puts characters like Edgeworth over the fodder line, and I'd definitely consider him fodder. Someone who isn't fodder should be someone who has a decent chance of winning a match any time he's put into the contest. Someone who's at 15% on Link (say...Edgeworth, probably) doesn't really qualify.

Its not that he's strong as much as people expecting a character to never make the contest become a high mid card out of no where.

Edgey is the one oddball character I noticed above 15%, but characters fluctuate. Math does not. Maybe Edgey isn't fodder now, but will be in a couple years.

Big Boss is picture dependent, plus I'm not exactly going to be rational about Edgey, one of my all-time favorite characters.

But sure, let's made the fodder line 16.11% just so it lines up with your personal stat adjustments. We'll also ignore char's stats having him at 14.95% and argue the semantics of a 1.16% difference for the next 300 posts. Not like I have anything better to do.

I agree with this. Duke may have impressed in recent years, but 2007 was pre-Brawl Ike and 2008 saw him put in a division where just about everyone not named Zack or Link was fodder.

I agree with this. Duke may have impressed in recent years, but 2007 was pre-Brawl Ike and 2008 saw him put in a division where just about everyone not named Zack or Link was fodder.

And Zack, Altair and Kefka have since looked great this year maybe hinting they are stronger then we thought.

I don't particularly care one way or the other. 15% just seems too low, even if Edgeworth was only like 10% or something, it'd feel too low. Characters who are at 15% or so win matches when they're set up with other fodder (Hey there Hogger and Laharl). They aren't characters who will be put into winnable positions on a somewhat regular basis.
