Imagine
every FF protagonist contemplating the meaning of dreams, friendship,
purpose, and destiny in literally every scene they're in. Often in
tandem with each other. Also, only one villain has any sort of real

is possibly the biggest manipulator in the FF series, but in Dissidia
everyone calls him worthless and none of his plans work out. And he

is the same in Dissidia as he was in FFIX, really. They didn't ruin him
at all. That's true of most of the characters in the game. All they did
was rip them from their game, keep their same problem or flaw, and then

Yeah,
I think they do a decent job of keeping the characters in character.
They just don't do a good job making them interact with characters from

Mario/Pit, Meta-Knight/Lucario, etc. Dissidia has, what, Bartz/Zidane
