I see a lot of "You have no clue what you're talking about"'s being thrown around...! Glad to see Neku made this better...now it's more reasonable to think Laharl boosted and Neku may have won in previous years, though that's just hypothetical. much as my bracket would hate it, I'm going to laugh my ass off if the
one year where everyone is universally down on Kefka is the year where

I'm not even trying to sound mean. I don't even think Dissidia is a good game, but I still like a lot of it. The first thing anyone would want to do, before figuring anything else out, is unlocking characters. The game forces you to play a story mode (the tutorial) before you can even see the main menu. If you choose to do quick battles for 30 hours after the tutorial and don't notice you're only getting 10 PP for each fight, you're not exactly keen on perceptive skills. Of course quick battles are a useless grind. I
consider grinding to be when what you've been doing for fun becomes an
obstacle for the fun you want. It's not always a bad thing (I'll grind
for SSB-characters), but it can be if it's something like trying to
level up so you're strong enough to beat a boss in the next room
(especially if you are grinding without any special technique, like if

If you end up liking the game and playing it a lot, calender bonuses are the thing to go after along with characters. Speeds everything up. fully expect Kefka to get an early lead, hold it for a little while and
then completely collapse come overnight/morning. He could lead by 500+
