Its not a good performance by Chief... but luckily for him, Ryu laid a bomb as well. It'll just be about who is more pathetic, and Ryu looked more pathetic from the matches today.

Well, when the one thing that makes Chief what he is (the ASV) was completely taken away, I'd say that's a gigantic bomb for him.

It doesn't help that Spy was rallying hard to counter that, though. I doubt they'd go crazy rallying for Ryu H against him since he doesn't have the 4chan memes and all so that should be a non factor

Very unlikely. Midna barely broke 40% against Scorpion back in 2007 when you would expect her to be at her strongest due to TP still being somewhat new. With TP even farther away from the release date, I don't see Midna breaking 40% on the more powerful Sora (who I would easily take over Scorpion).

Very unlikely. Midna barely broke 40% against Scorpion back in 2007 when you would expect her to be at her strongest due to TP still being somewhat new. With TP even farther away from the release date, I don't see Midna breaking 40% on the more powerful Sora (who I would easily take over Scorpion).

How about looking at 2008 where she got 25% on Cloud and equalled Mewtwo. Midna obviously performed better.

Well, without knowing what that's compared to, I dunno. If it's compared to yesterday, that's not surprising. If it's compared to the highest voted match so far, maybe it's you're on to something. I still doubt how significant it was if Master Chief's day vote ended up with him losing percentage. And Master Chief without that day vote takes away a pretty big advantage that he had to begin with. Not that I'm saying he's going to lose next round, or that he's not the favorite -- though I probably give Hayabusa a better chance than most -- but this is pretty bad, rallying or not. Spy ain't hot stuff.

When I said 300 votes I was only comparing the one hour when Spy was gaining percent like crazy. I'm not sure how the vote totals changed after that or whether or not all of them went to Spy.
