I don't think being in more contests means anything. Now, if this were Neku's first contest or his game was brand new, then maybe. performed better last year (depending on who you ask). Bracket
support and veteran status should give Laharl the win, but I'd be more
confident if it were a night match. Neku has that Kingdom Hearts look

Ganondorf
only had one match before running into Samus. His wins over Frog and
KOS-MOS were pretty good compare 31% on KOS-MOS with the 27% Mega Man

Oh,
I'm not arguing Dante and Ganondorf aren't close. I'm just wondering
why KP seems so confident that Dante is stronger. I hate Ganon and I'd
love to see anything make him look bad enough to lose that one, but I
haven't seen any match ever that convinces me Dante should be
considered the favorite to beat him. I may pick Dante > Ganon, but

Mudkip
wouldn't factor in Luigi/Ganondorf since he would hurt them equally,
Pikachu on the other hand is IMO the reason why Luigi didn't advance in

It's
possible to me that Dante draws votes because of his design. Not only
the drop from the Kirby > Dante match to the Sephiroth > Kirby
match in 08, but also the fact Dante seems to be more popular than his
games. No DMC game has gotten nominated in either game contest and DMC
got obliterated by Sonic in the series contest. I don't know the
relation from games to characters, so disregard if it's proven there's

the only problem with Ganon comparisons from the last two years is that
he has only one match each year without any sort of LFF in it (He got
stuck with Samus for rounds 2 and 3 last year and Luigi for rounds 2
and 3 the year before that). The only comparison you can really make
between the two is Vincent, and Ganondorf outdid him there. You can
argue that Ganondorf does worse on him now (and I'd probably agree with
you), but does he get less than 46%? I'm not inclined to agree there. Well, unless you'd argue Dante gets better than 46% on Vincent now, but I don't know why he would. --- "Stay with me until the end. Please." "Not until the end. Always." |
