Guess
I gotta hope for strong showings by Kratos, Ryu and Gordon, then. I
have all three of them making the division finals, and Gordon in
particular doesn't seem to be the popular choice. --- VOTE FOR MISSINGNO.! Characters who messed up my bracket: Shadow, Drake, Fawful, Liquid |

Picked Ryu. In cases where I have no preference, I pick whoever I played a game with them in last - in this case, NGS. --- Currently Playing: Final Fantasy Tactics, Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy IX |

Voted Crash for nostalgia purposes. Have 19/22, w/ Drake losing to WCC in Round 2, Wesker over Ken, and Liquid in round 3 (but Altair winning will screw over most serious brackets in this regard to w/e). Worried about Kefka>Arthas, and Phoenix to round 3 (and I like Jecht...). Also, Falcon > Riku and Kratos (come on GoW3 hype...) > Sora. Yeah... |
creativename | Posted 1/26/2010 11:01:01 PM | message detail |
Setting
Samus=Snake and using the Hayabusa:Zero ratio from round 1 last year,
Hayabusa is expected to get 63.74% on Crash this match. Looks like I
was wrong and Crash's 25% performance on Samus last year was indeed
relevant. Interesting how Crash is now stronger than back in the day. DAT NOSTALGIA VOTE Nostalgia as in NES Ninja Gaiden nostalgia, oh yes. Never played one of them thar newfangled XBox Ninja Gaiden games. --- gamefaqscontests.com gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

as a huge proponent of Crash, voting and noming him diligently since

stronger ever. Obviously every other contestant simultaneously got weaker. --- I thought I'd never change, but FastFalcon beat me into shape! |

Crash's night vote isn't that great. Although Ryu's night vote seems to suck even worse if his % is going down. Crash has already attempted to force in some cuts, but has failed in every attempt to cut Ryu. Crash managed to break 47% on one update so far and gotten several updates above 45%. --- Luster Soldier --- ~Shield Bearer~ | ~Data Analyst~ Popular at school, but not as cool as KrahenProphet, Guru Champ! |

This
is a pretty sad showing by Ryu Hayabusa. Unless Master Chief looks
worse against Spy he makes the 3rd Round. Good thing I didn't take that
upset. http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=1731 --- GT: TriggerTRE "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted." |

MIDNA LFF DUH I have 19/22, Missed on Shadow, Wesker, and Liquid. I still think the Wesker upset choice was a smart move, even if it didn't pay off. --- http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n237/Danielyoon10/B8sigbet-2.jpg tell me what to put here in my sig! |

Midna made Mewtwo weaker? That's not exactly how it works. Besides Midna in round 1 and Mewtwo in round 4 basically got about the same thing on Cloud, which is 25%, I guess a lot of people are jumping the Sora > Mario train if they think Sora can get 70%. --- Board 8 BOP: http://www.freewebs.com/charmander6000/CB8%20BOP.xls Character Battle VIII - 16/22 - Today's Winners: Ryu Hayabusa and Master Chief |

Match XXIV: (2) Master Chief vs. (15) Spy Information Name: Master Chief Game/Series: Halo Previous Contest: 2008 Performance: 3rd in round 3 Name: Spy Game/Series: Team Fortress 2 Previous Contest: 2008 Performance: 4th in round 1 Analysis: This is another example of a match that everyone knows who would win, but the percent the winner gets is a mystery. Master Chief matches have always been interesting to watch because of that though it would take a massive choking effort to lose this match. One of the biggest things people are wondering about is whether or not Master Chief still suffers from anti-votes. It is harder to successfully anti-vote a character in four-ways than it is in one on one. While Halo is a bit more respected on GameFAQs the haters are still there, heck if 4chan wants to it could easily give Spy a respectable performance. Spy isn’t weak either. He may have come in last in the previous contest, but his overall performance was decent. There’s no shame in getting doubled by Pikachu anymore and with Team Fortress 2 still being a popular game to play I don’t exactly see Spy rolling over dead here. If anything I feel that the game has rose in popularity since the previous contest. I don’t see Master Chief blowing Spy out given his contest history. The way anti-votes work is that it gets the best results when the character is against a weak character, but as the opponent gets stronger it becomes more likely that the anti-voters would have voted for the opponent regardless that the character was Master Chief. charmander6000’s Bracket: Master Chief > Spy charmander6000’s Prediction: Master Chief wins, 63.61% - 36.39% --- Board 8 BOP: http://www.freewebs.com/charmander6000/CB8%20BOP.xls Character Battle VIII - 16/22 - Today's Winners: Ryu Hayabusa and Master Chief |

20/22 here. Got screwed over by Drake (still can't believe this) and Liquid. I also have Kefka > Arthas and I'm not that worried. also have Kefka > Arthas and I'm not that worried. The Dark Knight

From: Nomchan | Posted: 1/27/2010 9:51:15 AM | #086 You should be. Kefka was a bomb as usual last year, while Arthas has been pretty decent in fourways, while Thrall put up 20% on Link, better than what Kefka could do. Factor in that Arthas>Thrall, and that he's getting a hype boost from finally becoming a boss you can fight around match time and things look pretty grim for Kefka. --- Placeholder anti-capslock sig. |

From: Seginustemple | #078 No, it isn't, because: 1) We haven't seen MC yet. 2) Crash today is still not Crash 2004.
