honestly can't tell if this is sarcasm, but people denying the Xbox
hierarchy have flat-out never played Halo or new Ninja Gaiden. This is
one of those "look at nothing but past stats, use no common sense"

Just
a thought: Crash, like Pokemon, had some hate back in the days of
2002-2004. Nowadays though, the hate has been uplifted from them and
can be seen from a more fond point of view now. We saw them both
improve since 2007 in the four-way format since the old days...heck, I
don't think Lara Croft looked too back in 2007 either (considering LFF
and how weak she's been in the past). Perhaps a new age of nostalgia

Except that: A) Hayabusa has every reason to overperform last year because of NG2 B) Zero was being weighed down by Pit/DeDeDe C) If you want to go this route, Zero's impressive 2007 showing on Crono points to Crono being in serious trouble against Yoshi if you extrapolate through Hayabusa Clearly Hayabusa is the outlier in his 2007 and 2008 matches for obvious reasons. the XBox is more than Halo now, but back in the day (and for longer
than 6 months) that's what the thing was good for. That means a lot. But no this isn't a SFF deal necessarily this is just a "why on earth would Ryu H be as strong as the Chief" deal. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

should point out that I think Ulti's theory makes sense in theory, and
is something that I believed, but it seemed to be proved wrong pretty
clearly in the last Games Contest. If Ryu H. collapses against M. Chief
I would expect it to come more from losing design votes more than

Chief isn't a weak character. Really the only stats that would have him below Ryu H are those which still treat Zero as a good match for Auron. I'm not the one that's stuck in the past here. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |
