How
am I being a 'bad fan' because I think that Zack can beat Mega Man, and
I'm just asking you guys to give me his chances based on that
hypothetical situation. I don't get it -- you guys don't like trolls, but when someone tries to stop being a troll and just talk about stats you give the person such a hard time it makes them not even want to try. Zack
isn't consistently taking 60+% gains per update. Yuna will cut a bit in
the night vote, so this should end up somewhere between 58-59% by the

Speaking
of Mega Man, as a big detractor of him over the past few years I do
have to give credit to him for doing that to Cid. I didn't think the
Blue Bomber was capable of doing that to any FF7 character anymore
(well... maybe Zolom). I'm not really sold on him being out of
the reach of the near-elites, of course - he was stumbling even before
he walked into that Cube loss, and Zero looked absolutely awful
last year - but it's definitely given me reason to hold the door open
and see what the rest of the MM crowd does. That Price match does make

hypothetical situations don't really work unless there's a chance of it
happening. This is almost like Pokemon Trainer Red again. wonder how much that match will actually tell us. Are we going to see
the Fenix who's worth a smidge more than Ocelot, or the one that's a
hair under Rydia? And if Zack SFFed Cecil, what's to say Auron didn't

Zack
beating Sonic this year would have been priceless. But Mega Man hasn't
embarrassed himself nearly as much as Sonic has, and actually still has
respect in most gaming circles. Sonic's just a damn has-been at this

on Snake is pretty much a given perhaps. Snake only hit 47.5% on Samus
with MGS4 hype. That, and Snake didn't even hit 43% on Mario in their

Snake
has gone up a lot since then, and 2006 was when Nintendo was at its
peak. Snake vs. Mario or Samus would be decently close nowadays, I

Until
we see more from the Sonic-crew -- specifically Sonic -- I'm not giving
Lightning much credit. We've seen Sackboy based off of hype and Lucas
based off of a non-NA game (plus SSBB)...and, though those are
worst-case scenarios, it gives me little hope for Lightning to mean a
lot until FF13 hits America. Axel still beat her in the vote-in polls,
and he barely broke 30% on Mega Man in 2006. I'm taking every established new-Square character we've seen so far over Lightning...except Zidane (probably). Zack definitely beats her, and I imagine most of us take Cid, Rikku, Vivi, and Yuna over her too. Snake in 2006 had Brawl/MGS4 hype. Snake in 2008 had Brawl and MGS4 RELEASED. If you don't think he can at least make up the difference against Samus of all characters with that, I don't know what to tell you. not even that far above Snake or Samus anymore, really. He looked
pretty bad against Samus (compared to 2005 and the Battle Royale in

match in 2k6 are you referring to exactly leonhart? If you look at the
2k6 TOC match where samus was eliminated, the difference between the
2k8 poll was nearly the same. That was only 1 year after Mario
