ever post. Also, I'm really shocked Cid is so low here. I'm glad I
decided to go sorta safe with my Oracle and not put this match too

I'm
still hoping we find a suitable fourth for our Magus/Shadow/Kefka
Fourpack of Suck! Closest I can think of is Donkey Kong, and even then

Look
at this result. Even if Cid is a bust, I'm feeling better about
Snake>Seph. You know Seph is going to start out in a hole, and that
late in a contest when our brackets are all dead, many of the voters
are going to do anything in their power to keep him there. ...which really has nothing to do with this match, but hey, I'm feeling good about Snake's chances ALRIGHT. This very surprising performance changes little in the grand scheme of things, though. Zack/Yuna and Auron/Squall are still SFF matches, Crono and Vinnie are still getting fed to Sephiroth, and Mega Man is still jobbing to Mario. Hell yeah Mega Man! I maintain my previous stance of Aeris > Cid, given Cid's poor performance and Aeris barely edging Cid out in the vote-in polls. I'd take Cid > Lightning at this time though, so -- if that's right -- Sonic gets his ass kicked by Mega Man. Cid'll improve overnight though, so let's see what he's got... ...and no, this match hardly has any bearing on Zack. FF7 doesn't look good based on Cid, but he's a newcomer and we haven't seen anything from the FF7-characters we know. Zack got 30+% three different times against Link last year (including beating MMX once with room to spare, though Link/Mario should be considered)...whereas Cid has 34% on Mega Man at this time. They're clearly in different leagues as far as our numbers show. I've got Yuna > Zack but have been feeling worse about it in the past couple of days. quickly looked through this topic and noticed the suspicions of a
possible Mega Man boost. I'm not sure if people are being serious or
not, but it makes a hell of a lot more sense to assume that Cid is just
the weakest FFVII poll option we've ever seen, which is a shame, but is
still far more likely than Mega Man getting a boost from Tatsunoku vs.

actually didn't do too badly in 2008. Cube isn't weak, and Zero was in
that match. The worst performance he's had is probably that 39% on
