I
had a ton of faith in Altair to thrash after his R1 clinic last year
and he failed to do much of anything. Vivi, whatever else you can say
about him, has been consistent - unlike Liquid. That alone has to leave

And then Altair got 60% on Liquid Snake. Come on, I know there's some crazy x-stat logic that can help me here. Something to do with A>B>C>A inequalities --- KrahenProphet lived up to his name. |

Liquid
is one of the most unreliable and inconsistent characters we've ever
had in these things. I don't think Altair's 60% ownage of him says
anything about Altair/Vivi. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

If
we assume Villains Contest Liquid = 2k10 day Liquid and 2k4 Vivi = 2k10
day Vivi (and that Vivi/Sephiroth had no SFF) and that Villains Contest

Assuming
Vivi = Altair, DK beats Liquid by a bit, which I have no trouble
buying. The problem is, both winners were graced with their best 12

after this contest, Liquid getting his doors blown off while all the
other MGS characters performed well enough will make absolutely no

Eh, it depends. If Altair were to blow out Vivi in the same way, then it might
line up better with pre-contest expectations. Alternatively, Red/The
Boss/Big Boss/Snake could end up laying duds in their matches to come,
which would more or less confirm the same thing. Remember, aside from
Liquid, the best established competition an MGS character has faced so

is doing much better than I expected ( he might even get 64%) consider
how awesome Prinny looks in his picture. To bad he didn't get a higher
seed and faced someone like Lloyd or any other Tales character. I mean
