Not
after Diddy bombed last year. If we're going to rally for someone who
is both awesome and potential strong, it's gotta be Sheik. It's weird,
we have these "Sheik discussions" a few times every year and then just
forget about her. I kinda understand why, since she may not even be
eligible, but Bacon seems very relaxed about who he'll let in Character

personally think Goomba would be a good character to rally for. If he
got the chance to build up bandwagon buzz, he could be a Noble Nine

not sure. I don't know why the results are slightly different than the
world results when you try out country codes that shouldn't work at
all. Here is the percentage that showed up for Zidane when I tried out
several country codes that don't work: France - 63.55% Portugal - 63.51% Spain - 63.61% Norway - 63.59% Denmark - 63.54% When you put in a country code that doesn't work, I think it gives you a fresh version of the results. I bet that the cache for each country code expires every five minutes, and there is no validation of country codes. So, instead of a fake country code giving you the cache of the world results, it hits the database for the current results. --- Be a good little washing machine, now... o_0 |

I'm cool with Goomba or Sheik, though I'm all about getting Epona in sometime too. Who do you guys think will be some of the more likely characters to be rallied in the NRT this year anyway? I figure Bayonetta will be close to guaranteed, and perhaps we'll see another FF13-character...but after that, I don't know. We've gotten the last of the Pokemon-characters we've argued about for years (plus saw Jigglypuff bomb) and saw a lot of other guys in the vote-in polls. could see Tingle, King Harkinian and Navi doing quite well for
themselves as joke characters. As for "serious" characters... yeah,
Epona and Saria could work. Vaati and Skull Kid could be interesting

I'm
thinking about cutting the NRT for new characters down to 32, and
having a 32 character Returners Tournament with the top 3 from each
getting in. I used to limit it to 5 because we only got ten
nominations, but now that we get 15, asking for 6 isn't that big of a

Riggs is at least a character, and from what I hear, a pretty good one.
Just because he'll end up being weak doesn't make him any less eligible
- I'd much rather see one-and-done fan favorite characters that someone

I'm
cool with six nominations instead of five, but I don't think I'd like
going from four new-comers to three -- I'd rather have the four-to-two
split between newcomers and snubs. I prefer the emphasis being on new
