prinny is like a stronger version of laharl This. Laharl isn't that cool. Laharl is way down the list as far as cool characters from Disgaea goes. fact that Ness still failed to do anything in that match really goes to
show that PS1 SFF wasn't really a factor. Or Earthbound/FFIX SFF was a

Western boost trumps Dissidia boost! This is impressive to me because by all rights Claptrap should be around Sandal-level fodder. It's the mascot of Borderlands, a decently-received but quickly-forgotten game. Claptrap should not be this high on anyone, and even in 2008 Zidane showed he wasn't a complete pushover, even if his first victory was against a potentially SFFed Shadow. Plus, Dissidia, which may have benefited Cecil as well. Of course, it's more likely that Sonic Team has sunk horribly, that Cecil hasn't increased at all and Knuckles is pure fodder now, that Shadow is low fodder, and that Kratos will break 90% on Tails. Wouldn't mind seeing that last one, personally! --- Not Wylvane |

picking Zidane on my bracket without a second thought, I promptly
forgot who Claptrap was. I've been hoping the match pic would shed some
light on the subject. Well, the pic is up, and I still don't know. All I keep thinking is, "This is a box." This. Laharl isn't that cool. Laharl is way down the list as far as cool characters from Disgaea goes. Prinnies aren't like Toads, but more like Yoshis or Chocobos that have attitude. Zero, Knuckles, Magus, etc Yoshi, in fact. Same
system SFF makes perfect sense though, especially if the system did not
have that many games or had a small fanbase. And we have seen evidence

reason people here (myself included) know nothing about Claptrap is
because we knew this match was a gimme and didn't bother to look him

Well I wasn't arguing for PS1 LFF, was I? Although, yeah, it was probably there too. You can have LFF for absolutely anything that systematically causes people to like 2 different games.
