The
contest has been all seeding for the most part. With totals ending up
around 60-70k votes and there being what? 28,000 or so brackets? It's
easy to see why some of these matches are going the way they are. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. We're not going to strip out the soul of the site. -CJayC |

The contest has been all seeding for the most part. 2 13 seeds and a 15 seed have won so far, and a 12 nearly beat a 5. Not sure how that's all seeding. though this completely screws my bracket with Liquid going to the third
round, I'm actually happy at this result. Its good to see GameFAQs

Explain round 2. Last place factor. only gotten 1 60% update all match. At the rate he's going, he could

holy
crap what horrible poll times... i was wondering what was happening, as
I ended up missing matches to vote on. i guess i won't be visiting here
daily anymore since i'll only get half my chances to vote and my
schedule barely allows a daily visit to begin with! I hope the next char. battle doesn't have such tarded poll times again. Good Luck to the rest of the people in the contest, these polling times are skewing the votes! |

Liquid does something different nearly every time we see him, that's
about as good of an explanation as you're going to get. And why did Liquid get LPF'd and not Alucard? That doesn't make a lick of sense. After Alucard/Magus, I don't think it looks so strange anymore. Alucard being stronger than expected and Luigi (2008 and later) being weaker than we expected makes it make a lot more sense. It's not like Luigi has any matches after 2007 saying he's still at his old levels, and we've seen Bowser and Yoshi tank. Altair
will always get an appealing picture, though. I factored that in as

That's true too, although you can't really say anything conclusive about Luigi being that he got a similar path as Mario. But Liquid last year was a fluke. Using him as a constant for Altair is a horrible idea. --- Good Times, Great Memories |

Would you really expect Luigi/Ike to be a close match? Ike got 45% on Pikachu, so indirectly, yes.
