The 0s do this best this time. All of them but one knew Donkey Kong was going to lose. If most of the 1 brackets were 0 bracket attempts, they had a very high prediction percentage as well. After that it gets a bit weird. The best performers were the perfects are those with low scores. The people in between did much worse.

BOP - Vivi 98.53%
Overall - Vivi 39.95%

The board did very against the average bracket marker again. Today we probably won't be so lucky, though.

Yeah, if Altair can outdo Vivi's percentage here, I'll call him the favorite next round. I think Liquid beats DK. Gotta admit I was wrong about the guy. Either that, or Liquid once again proves that he's the most inconsistent performer in contest history and Vivi wins with 55%+.

The fact that it's a day match is only gravy for Altair.

I still think Zelda is in the clear against Ezio, as she is a good deal tougher than Liquid...then again, we practically haven't seen her since...ever.

2004 didn't have her.
2005 saw her face Snake with a horrible picture.
2006 saw her overperform on Samus
2007 saw her get LFFd by Tails and SFFd by Link
2008 saw her perform admirably well on Mario

So I still think that Link's princess is safe, but who knows?

There are a lot of things not making sense just two divisions in and -- though we don't know exactly when or in what way yet -- there's likely been a site-shift sometime during our four-way tenure and we missed/ignored it. Our expectations are hardly standing up in most of these matches thus far.

I think our expectations have been standing up about as well as normal, actually. The only really big shocker to me was Alucard crushing Magus with 58%. We've seen many clues saying that Sonic Team fell hard, and this current match is only surprising because many of us either weren't willing to take Zack's 30% on Link at face value or didn't believe in AC2's boost power.

I think Sephiroth is still sort of perceived to be more popular than Cloud for some reason, even though he clearly isn't. Though it has to be said his placement in the bracket implies he got the second most amount of nominations if Link got the most.

This match doesn't have *anything* to do with Zack. The Altair Zack faced got 19% on Link. This is very clearly a different Altair.

I'm feeling deja vu...

So where can Altair be perceived to be placed now? I mean he's looking pretty beastly so far, though I suppose giving the poll more time is in order but I see no way Liquid rebounds during the ASV. If anything, this should have been Liquid's peak time.
