Vivi is better in the day than DK.

I sincerely doubt that. DK did better in the day against Tidus, and Tidus did better in the day against Vivi. Connect the dots.

DK is nightish for a Nintendo character, but against practically old Square that ceases to matter.

A few years ago, there may have been Square characters who could beat Nintendo characters in the day (most notably FFVII), but the Games Contest showed us that it is now pretty much down to just Kingdom Hearts. FFVII through FFX displayed very similar trends in the Games Contest, and most disturbingly for them, their ASV performance was about identical to that of CT and FFVI.

Crisis averted for Vivi, if you can call that a crisis.
I really thought the first five minutes would be more telling in a 1v1 than in a 4-way. So far that just hasn't been the case.

In other news, I had GlaDOS losing to Fawful. Don't I feel silly now. Why is the only franchise that's looking really impressive so far Portal?? Wonder if it'll carry over to Gordon...

Finally - that has got to be the best picture GlaDOS is ever going to get. Ulti, right? Kudos.

Wonder if it'll carry over to Gordon...

I'm pretty sure Gordon will do quite well. People may start screaming how much Tifa is horrible because of it, but it would more likely be Gordon's being very legit now.
