Nah, not enough SFF. Blowout of the contest will probably be Sonic > Knuckles in Round 2. Agreed, though, Kuja wins the fourpack. I'm disappointed in Fawful's performance, though. |

Please. 2003 Isaac, Pokemon, Phoenix Wright, and FFTA should have all proved by now that handheld games of equal popularity to console games do not somehow make their characters/games intrinsically weaker. If Dissidia doesn't boost anyone it will be because A) They are all already established, or B) Because it wasn't popular enough, not because it's a handheld game. --- "The whole world's out to get us. Yeah
I've been complaining about Guybrush's ridiculously high seed. I can't
wait to see Ulti's analysis on this one. Complete fodder outseeding
high midcarders. The very fact that Guybrush outseeds, IN HIS OWN
DIVISION, somebody who once went 50-50 with Samus, is heavily
unsettling. Somehow I think Samus gets 55% on Tifa at worst now, since
we all seem to agree that Auron and Vincent are tougher (yay!), plus
not being in that one contest might blow some of her strength off. But
I think taking her for 60% on Freeman makes more sense now...maybe even
65%. I'd much prefer seeing Freeman impress! Man, I can think of two 10 seeds that could've upset one of the 1 seeds this contest. Dangit. |

is a poor man's GlaDOS in every way. If he would have won it would be
because of this site being more Nintendo-oriented, and GlaDOS'

Yeah,
I'm still convinced Guybrush's bracket placement is a ploy to get him
128th in the x-stats. I figure he'll probably be held well under 20%
against Vincent, and then Sephiroth will SFF Vincent to the tune of at
least 70-30, maybe even 72-28 or so. Then you figure Sephiroth will
lose to Snake by more than Cloud will, and Link will still beat Snake
in the finals... |

Admittedly,
the whole cake thing is very played out and just not funny or
entertaining anymore. WCC and GlaDOS are both a bit yawn worthy in
those regards; it's so overused as supposedly "high brow" humor but
it's far too prevalent to be that. I still voted for GlaDOS though. Mostly because as a character, there are redeeming qualities. She's hardly WCC; not at all a "joke" character. --- :> |

Yes,
well, the same could be said about Fawful. The only real joke is his
quirky dialogue. And while "I have fury" is an obvious attempt at
intentional Engrish, "the mustard of your doom" is just pure weirdness.
And really, aren't video games supposed to be about having fun? Oh, wait...forgot where I was for a moment. Don't shoot me. |

is one of those games where you can fall in love with Bowser if you
hadn't previously cared much for him. Was I expecting a huge boost? No,
was I expecting a mini-boost? Kinda, he's been a bit on the downfall, I
figured basically his own game would do him good, but to see a
character that can basically represent the game look like mega-fodder

someone who almost beat Samus... It's nothing more than a disgusting

doesn't mean nothin for no one else. And that's where you're wrong, because Cube is stronger than that, and can probably advance one more round before bowing out. He's not quite on L-Block's level yet, but he's got a solid fanbase that makes him a borderline midcarder. |
