To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB

~*Say What? Some Common Stat Topic Lingo Defined*~

SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote, because the Zelda fanbase so clearly sided with him. However, take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make total sense. This has caused a few SFF jokes, with LordOfDabu's "Some Frivolous Factor" being the funniest of them.

X-Stats - Short form of Extrapolated Statistics, aka the mathematical "strength" of a contestant that can be determined based on their performance in any given matchup. See above for a detailed explanation of the x-stat process.

Noble Nine - Link, Cloud, Sephiroth, Mario, Crono, Solid Snake, Sonic, Samus and Mega Man.

Near-Elite - The Squall, Auron, Tifa, Vincent, Zelda, Kirby, etc group that has come at, near or even ahead of Noble Nine characters in the past.

But we have a better idea of Liquid's strength than Altair's, and that was true even in 2008. Since then AC2 has come out which has made Altair's range even wider.

I expect GLaDOS to win with like 56% or so. It's Fawful.

I expect Pokemon Trainer Red/Nathan Drake/Shadow/Knuckles/Ken Masters to win with like 56% or so. It's Revolver Ocelot/Amaterasu/The Boss/Cecil Harvey/Albert Wesker.

Portal and GLaDOS impressed me enough last year that I don't think she should struggle...Geno's not worth anything and I'd be surprised Fawful is was even his equal.

GLaDOS was also better at night but she wasn't that bad during the day...most of Falco's gains in that match were at the expense of Vincent.

Geno hasn't been in a game in 14 years now (Well, Superstar Saga, but that doesn't count). Fawful's coming off of a game that's sold pretty well.

Problem is it's a handheld game. Golden Sun > Mario and Luigi, Isaac > Fawful. I would probably take GlaDOS over Isaac.

After seeing what cube did, I have a hard time believing a super cult rpg character from a game that couldn't even beat a KH side game or a pokemon directors cut is going to do much. I'm expecting a doubling from Glados.

Last time Gordon faced a woman he was expected to beat with ease (I think), he lost 60/40. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility with him.

Honestly, I'd take Vault Boy > Leon before I'd take Peach > Gordon. But maybe I'm just saying that because I have Gordon beating Tifa, a decision that could very well blow up in my face.

Regarding Alucard/Magus... I expected it to be closer than it actually was. We all know that Castlevania is just terrible with the day vote, and Chrono Trigger's day vote is even worse - possibly the worst ever. I suppose that it was just a case of whoever didn't suck as much with the day vote winning?

It being a night match wouldn't have changed much because if CT is any stronger than Castlevania in the night compared to the day, it would have been offset by Magus getting completely murdered in the Europe vote.

And here I thought that Alucard was weakening... Either Alucard's stronger than I gave him credit for or CTDS wasn't much help... Though I really think that it'd be easier to draw conclusions after Crono and Frog's matches.
