It's
hard to read too much into Ken's performance for Ryu because we haven't

Yeah,
Ken's never really been in Ryu's league either, and his only two
matches were against Noble Niners 7-8 years ago. We don't know how Ken
has risen or fallen in proportion to Ryu since then. --- "So cold. I am always by your side." "There ain't no gettin' off of this train we on!" |

Yeah,
but Ryu's a firmly entrenched character who's probably not going to

SFIV was easily the biggest SF release in over a decade, and it was on consoles that reached a new fanbase. SFIV
was a big game, yes, but it wasn't really designed to reach out to a
new user base, I don't think. I still think that the vast majority of
GameFAQs users have played at least one Street Fighter game, and a new
fighting game generally isn't going to change how you feel about a
character, especially someone like Ryu who plays almost exactly the

lost to Persona 4. I know that's something repeated ad nauseum around
here, but so is "Street Fighter IV was the biggest game in forever!" It

was absolutely the biggest Street Fighter in over 15 years. There's no
arguing that point. That said, how much it mattered to GameFAQs -- who

there actually any reason to believe that Wesker would get the ASV or
are people just hoping the ASV falls for the character they want to
