I guess the reason Knuckles/Cecil wasn't as surprising to me was because Knuckles ended up winning anyway, even though the match was a lot closer than expected. Also, seeing Final Fantasy characters do well never surprises me anymore.

Prior to the start of Shadow/Amaterasu, I was convinced that Shadow would double Amaterasu and make her look like a fool. So it was that match that made me realize I really have no idea what I'm talking about :P

Most satisfying: Cecil/Knuckles. While my man didn't win, he showed that Knuckles only won because he got lucky with seeding. Considering I expected Cecil to get blown out AND be fodder, the possibility that not just one, but both of those assumptions were wrong is a wonderful feeling.

I'm totally not looking forward to Wesker/Ken. Mostly because I chose Wesker to win. I had no memory of how well Wesker did in previous contests. I guess I was just basing my pick on the idea that the Resident Evil fanbase is larger than the Street Fighter fanbase... which I'm not really sure of.

But now that I think about it, people who don't play either game will probably vote for Ken, since he's more of a recognizable video game icon than Wesker is.

...But despite me thinking Resident Evil characters will be really strong, I have Jill Sandwich losing to Niko Bellic.
