I went with my instinct on this one. I just hope that Boss can beat WCC
next round. I don't know how people thought Drake would easily best THE
BOSS, when he was sooooo bad before. A non-existent character should technically get 0% on CATS yet we see them defeat him when the game is released. ruins my perfect bracket too. Good thing I at least came to my senses

A non-existent character should technically get 0% on CATS yet we see them defeat him when the game is released. Yet that wouldn't happen if the voting habits of voters mostly stay intact in a contest. Look at this poll: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=3680 Considering "Least popular" got 0.96% there, even the weakest character should have a floor of at least 1% against even the most popular characters like Link. In practice a Link vs. Link match with the same picture would lead to the top Link winning. Oh
well, losing a perfect bracket on a Boss win is probably the best way
to lose it. I was even listening to the MGS 3 version of the main theme
last night. Classic. So, does spell doom for Sackboy's first round match,given that the PS3 boost isn't that great? And curious to see the ASV here as well. I expect ND will make a match of it at least, especially given the current low votals. |

estimates of what percentage have Drake to win? I could see this being
another 36% correct like Ammy but I could also see it being 50% or

An ASV preview from Drake? Let's see if he can manage another one. And going back to the last topic for a sec, I really don't know what to expect from Sonic/Lightning tonight. That one has a wide range to it, kinda like I thought Cube/Sandal had. Lightning could get like 35% or she could get 15%. Who knows? I think The Boss will have decent support. We've already seen that
bracket makers aren't opposed with going with the lower seed this year.
Ocelot had 48% as a 12, X had 75% as a 13, and Shadow had 65% as an 11.
Heck, even Meta Knight and Sandal had 25% support, for whatever the

and I only have three #2 seeds advancing. A lot of them just seemed
really weak. In fact a lot of the seeding seemed pretty bunk overall. --- sigh..... |

and I only have three #2 seeds advancing. A lot of them just seemed

You know, I'm seeing a lot less whining/confusion topics than I saw with Shadow/Ammy. Either people care more about Shadow the Hedgehog than Drake, or the casuals weren't as fooled by the 2 Seed as we thought they would be. If
by "a chance" you mean that Drake is sitting in the cockpit of a
jet-fighter with all its engines shot out, nosediving towards a lake
filled with crocodiles, piranhas, and evil polar bears that just
happens to be located in the middle of the Sahara desert 200 miles from
any water source and he has "a chance" of survival, then yeah, I agree
that he has a chance. Oh..yeah and the lakewater is skin-burningly acidic and poisonous in case Drake gets any wise ideas. |

Drake
wasn't going to win this one. When people see The Boss, their first
thought is,"MGS," and that's what they associate her with. Uncharted 2,
while a good game just can't compare with MGS. People who enter this
contest, at least most of them want to go for safe bets. Boss was the
safe bet, and because of it she took in the majority of votes. |
