And Shadow's definitely gaining percentages per update now. The actual vote gap between the two is still rising, though. Boo. --- My nick's Adamant. I have a "no 1" that looks stupid. Would've changed it if I could without losing karma. So it's Adamant, not Adamanto or Adamantno. |

A bit late on this but hell, im surprised she is even eligible since they gotta originate from a video game She's not the only one. Kratos and Midgar Zolom, for instance, are the same way. They however do originate in video games, as they're completely new versions of that character with only a minimal basis in mythology and stuff, with their own unique stories. Of course, this begs the question as to why we don't try nominating Dracula from Castlevania since he's also his own character very very loosely based off of Dracula himself. Hell, he has more in common with Satan. Dracula for CBIX! |

Doubt
Cube breaks 70%. Dragon Age is strong enough for some of the strength

Cube
has more of a reason to perform better than L-Block, because Dragon
Age: Origins is still quite new and Sandal hasn't had very much time to

I've
got the Cube with 60%...I expect Sandal to be pretty bad, but I don't
know how well joke characters will hold up in 1v1. It's legitimately
popular among Portal fans...but I'm not sure how many of those there

put Cube around 61% but i'm really unsure. I expect joke "characters"
to continue to decline, especially in 1v1 format, but Cube is also kind
of representative of Portal to its fanbase, or so i hear. I also have
no idea what to expect from Sandal other than i'm fairly sure he (she?
it?) will be under the fodder line. But will he be high, low, or

Sandal
is a 100% joke character. Fans don't care for him much, but considering
his opponent is another joke character, it probably wouldn't take much

you see the scene that makes him famous comes at the end of the game,
but like I've said most people who aren't in with the joke probably

Somebody
came by the board a few days ago and claimed to have beaten Dragon Age
but had no idea who Sandal was. When somebody posted a picture, he just
said "oh, that gnome guy from the camp? he had a name?" Sandal is just a bad joke that will do a bad job. I've
always had the feeling that it's pretty difficult for fodder to blow
out bottom of the barrel fodder. Would CATS really get 87% or whatever
he's supposed to get on Tanner? I have my doubts about whether he'd
break 80%- at some point most of the voters simply won't recognize
either character, and then if they still vote anyway, they'll just
split 50-50 or vote based on the picture. It's true CATS/Tanner would
get extraordinarly low votals, but there's a certain base level that
