Mewtwo jobbing last year does though, and I've said since day 1 that Pikachu is the only thing Pokemon that will be worth a damn. Charizard will probably beat Duke, but it will be an embarassing match.

And you're stupid if you think this says anything about Charizard. The biggest arguments against Red is that nobody cares about the trainers in Pokemon, and as this poll shows, that's pretty much true!

If you want to argue against Charizard, go with stuff like how we have no idea how Pokemon will do 1v1 or how Charizard is not as iconic for Pokemon as Pikachu and thus won't be as strong.

I still think Charizard will be the second-strongest Pokemon after Pikachu, which should get him past Duke with ease. GoW3-level Kratos on the now-strong PS3...
