...though it makes the most sense to lure new people over with characters they like. Bah, now I've got myself conflicted! Whatever, I'll agree with red sox that major one-sided influences suck the most.

On the subject of Tifa/Samus, I'm starting to seriously think that the "This contest if about who would win a fight!" crowd is one of the reasons she did so badly there. Suitless Samus probably loses to Tifa in a fight.

Well, it's a Nintendo character against an FFVII character, so you'd think there's be a greater difference between the late night and power hour than in this match. Maybe not, though, if the MGS/RBY trends can be believed.

Looking very close to over. Based on what's happening now, it's not likely that Ocelot will win the next hour. That basically means he's get five hours to wipe this lead and build his own that will hold off Red in the last 3-4 hours. It's asking for too much.

An excellent hour for Red- he fell off much less than RBY did against MGS, especially compared to that awful round 2 falloff.

2:00 | 51.33% | 44.61% | 50.73%

Projections:

RBY/MGS Round 2: Ocelot with 51.15%
RBY/MGS Round 3: Red with 50.04%

I think Red/Ocelot isn't exactly the same thing as RBY/MGS trendswise and I favor Red here, but those projections do not let me call the match for Red yet. I better not find him buried under the deep night/early morning vote when I wake up!

If I had known the pic requirements beforehand, PT wouldn't have the pic he has right now. I actually had a few decent non-Brawl body shots lined up but held off so Bacon wouldn't choose them over the sprite. 'oops'

I understand, just how these things work sometimes.


What does GS/MGS from R1 suggest? Red was the villain instead of the protagonist, but there were no other Nintendo reps in that match; RBY's dealing with GS and LoZ:MM in R2 while LoZ:OoT is looming over it in R3. Perhaps that gives a different perspective.

Or, heck, would SSBB/MGS4 be relevant enough for a comparison?

GS/MGS in round 1 projects Red to win with 50.24%.
SSBB/Brawl gives Red an easy win- by about the same percentage margin as he currently has. There's such a difference between Melee and Brawl's early votes.

Okay, so the only Red/Ocelot-comparisons that currently favor Ocelot when looking at BGE2 is when Red has two games in the same poll. Red's looking pretty safe in that regard, though who knows with these guys.
